If you own a ROOM phone booth or meeting pod in the UK, you may already know the problem: since ROOM’s acquisition by OFS Brands in September 2023, the company has withdrawn entirely from Europe. Warranties, onsite support, spare parts and relocations are no longer available from the manufacturer.
Installify has stepped in to fill that gap. As specialist office pod engineers based in London, we repair, service, relocate and source parts for ROOM booths across the UK — so you can keep your existing pods working instead of replacing them.
Why ROOM No Longer Supports UK Customers
In September 2023, ROOM — the manufacturer behind some of the most popular modular phone booths and meeting pods in modern offices — was acquired by OFS Brands, a US-based furniture manufacturer. Following the acquisition, ROOM consolidated its operations to North America and ceased all European activity.
For UK customers, that means the manufacturer no longer provides:
- Warranty support or claims handling
- On-site repairs or engineer visits
- Spare parts sales
- Booth relocations or reinstallation
ROOM built a strong following from 2018 onwards for its flexible, sustainable approach to workplace privacy, and thousands of its booths remain in daily use across UK offices. Those booths are still excellent products—they simply no longer have a manufacturer behind them. That’s where we come in.
ROOM Booth Services We Provide
Repairs & Fault Diagnosis
Our engineers diagnose and repair the most common ROOM booth faults, including ventilation fans that have become noisy or stopped running, lighting failures, power and USB module faults, door misalignment, and worn or damaged acoustic seals that let sound leak in and out of the booth.
Spare Parts & Component Replacement
Because ROOM no longer sells parts into Europe, we source compatible replacement components—fans, LED lighting units, power modules, seals, casters, felt panels and fixings — or supply engineered equivalents where an original part is no longer available.
Planned Servicing & Maintenance
A ROOM booth in daily use benefits from a professional service every 6–12 months: fan and filter cleaning, electrical checks, seal inspection, door adjustment, panel tightening, and a full acoustic performance check. ROOM Booth Relocation & Reinstallation
Moving office? ROOM booths can be professionally dismantled, transported, and rebuilt at your new site. Our office pod relocation service covers single booths through to full pod fleets, anywhere in the UK.
