ROOM Office Phone Booths No Longer Supported in the UK After Acquisition

In September 2023, ROOM, the company that specialises in modular office pods and soundproof phone booths, was acquired by OFS Brands, a US-based furniture manufacturer. As a result, ROOM’s focus is now 100% North America, and they have ceased all European operations. As a result, ROOM has stopped all post-sale support for UK and European customers; this includes warranties, onsite support, spare parts sales and product relocations. Customers across Europe who use ROOM pods for privacy and acoustic solutions may now find it difficult to maintain and repair their units.

ROOM have been passionate about creating flexible, sustainable workspaces and this change of support is a big change for their European customer base. Since 2018 ROOM have been innovating with their phone booths and meeting pods which provide soundproofing in open office environments.
